An honest police officer Sartaj Singh (Saif Ali Khan) gets a call from Ganesh Gaitonde (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), a fugitive gang leader who has been underground for 16 years whose ominous warning prompts the officer on a quest to prevent a Mumbai apocalypse.
